Jarry Kovarik

Jarry Kovarik commenced as the NTACC’s Project Officer in January 2006.
As a long term Darwin resident, Jarry has gained experience in many project roles in a number of NT Government departments. Working with Primary Production, Jarry was involved in conservation and land unit management issues, traveling throughout the NT on field trips. Involved in various roles in the department of Transport & works as a Project Clerk, he was part of a team responsible for the design and construction development of numerous major capital works items.
Whilst employed in the NT Department of Treasury as a Senior Administrative Officer, Jarry had a primary role in the development of the NT’s capital works program and prepared a range of budget documents for government consideration.
In 1986, Jarry was appointed as a Ministerial Officer working with the same senior NT Minister for nine years.
In 1993 Jarry purchased a popular bar and restaurant and successfully operated the establishment for many years.
Jarry is committed in his project role at the NTACC and enjoys assisting applicants in seeking funding under the Regional Partnerships program, and promoting regional development in all areas across the Northern Territory.
